Yi Sheng Tang has 34 R&D staff, including pharmaceutical, drug analysis, biotechnology, bioengineering, biochemistry, phytochemistry, chemical machinery, nutrition and food hygiene, clinical medicine and other professionals, who have rich experience in product development. The two main scientific and technological cooperation units are the Heilongjiang University College of Life Science and the Harbin Medical University School of Public Health. Heilongjiang University College of Life Sciences is strong in the field of biotechnology research and application. It owns provincial key laboratories--molecular biology laboratory; school level key Laboratory--microbiology laboratory. Also it has hosted the National 863 Project (Apomixis Research and Development in Sugar beet J-99-01), the National transgenic plant and special industrialization project (Sugar beet M14 Apomixis Gene Identification and Cloning ZJY-A-03), Heilongjiang Provincial key scientific and technological project(Anti-cancer Drug Taxol-producing Bacteria Isolation and Engineering Strain Construction GA02C101), and other projects, including 5 related national, 18 provincial and ministerial, 21 department and bureau and 22 enterprise commission and cooperation projects. R&D staff have wealth experience in food microbiology and biotechnology research areas and have taken part in many national projects, had many national and provincial awards, declared many invention patents, papers published in other domestic and international journals more than one hundred.

Scientific and technological personnel in the food microbiology and biotechnology research areas have rich work experience and have taken part in a number of national research projects, and won lots of national and provincial-level awards, declared many invention patents, professional journals at home and abroad, published a series of papers more than one hundred; reasonable researchers construction and high overall level.
   
   
Harbin Medical University School of Public health has advanced research equipments and conditions. It was recognized as the first batch of Health Food Function Evaluation Unit by Ministry of Health. The Institute of Nutrition and Food Hygiene is state key discipline that has strong teachers, advanced equipments, rich research and development experience and strong technology to ensure quality and efficacy of product development. November 18th, 2005 Yi Sheng Tang and Harbin Medical University School of Public Health signed the 'Joint Construction of Key Laboratory Agreement', which mainly reach agreement on that Yi Sheng Tang will provide funds to Harbin Medical University School of Public Health for research and laboratory construction, Harbin Medical University School of Public Health use its technology, equipments and other resources advantages for our technology personnel training, development of new products and provide technical advisory services for Yi Sheng Tang. In all cases, Yi Sheng Tang is ultimate owner of research results between two parties, we have priority rights to purchase, develop and produce other research results.
